The Daniel Payne Legacy Village Foundation is a 501c3 organization established in 2014 with the mission “To foster community growth through education, technology, economics, and wellness.” The organization is led by our Executive Director, the Board of Directors, with Bishop Harry L. Seawright serving as Board Chairman. Our vision is to create a future built on a legacy through our 6-point Development Strategy focused on developing the following areas: Education, Workforce Development, Community, Homeownership, Economics, and Food/Wellness

We execute our 5-point mission at Daniel Payne Community Plaza, our privately owned building located in Birmingham, AL.

And they said, Let US rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for the GOOD WORK."-Nehemiah 2:16

It is with privilege and honor I am able to serve as your Executive Director for such a time as this. There is a tide rising in our mist, a swelling that will present not only challenges but a tide that will produce CHANGE. A change that will be verifiable by the work we do in this season for our community, city, state, and country. With the leadership of Bishop Harry L. Seawright, strength of the 9th Episcopal District, commitment of the Daniel Payne Community Plaza and cause of The Daniel Payne Legacy Village Foundation and representatives of the African Methodist Episcopal church we will be the AGENTS OF CHANGE in this tide. As one of your leaders I give my commitment and fidelity to our agenda. I ask for yours in return and TOGETHER we will build that which has already been promised to US. BRICK by BRICK

Gracefully Yours,

Brandon M. Cleveland
